 CTDA 1-800EveryRim Annual Luncheon Guests Enjoying Presentations Before Lunch is Served

The 8th annual CTDA / 1-800EveryRim New Year Luncheon took place on January 29th, 2020 in Santa Fe Springs, CA at local restaurant Geezers. Guests were able to enjoy refreshments and hor d'oeuvres all while socially networking the old fashion way before enjoying a delicious lunch. At this year’s luncheon, the featured speakers were Tire Industry Association (TIA) Vice President Dan Nothdurft of Tires Tires Tires and SEMA Director of Market Research Gavin Knapp.

At last year’s event, TIA Vice President Brian Rigney, now current TIA President spoke as did SEMA Wheel and Tire Council Senior Manager Allan Keefe. 98 individuals representing 48 businesses and organizations were in attendance.

During the luncheon, the California Tire Dealers Association (CTDA) honored Pete’s Road Service, headquartered in Fullerton California, for its 50-year membership. The grandson of founder Pete Fletcher, third-generation owner, Kyle Fletcher stepped to the podium to accept his commemorative certificate.

CTDA President and luncheon host Billy Eordekian of 1-800EveryRim OEM Wheels commented, “I remember Pete and Glen Fletcher attending meetings back in the ’70s and it’s great that Kyle was here continuing the family tradition of CTDA support!”

Also in attendance were those whom Eordekian recognized as “Godfathers of our industry” including Tony Guldalian of Grand Prix Tire and Automotive, Jack Phillips of Commercial Tire, Kenny Kevorkian retired from United Vulcanizing, and Jay Goldberg retired from Globe Tire.

This year’s luncheon sponsors included Gold Sponsors Federated Insurance, Yokohama, West Creek Financial, Advance Professional, along with Silver Sponsors Turbo Wholesale Tire, Myers Tire Supply, Service Capital, Penn Tire, National Tire Wholesale, Fury Off-Road, and Tires Warehouse.
